We contacted Kathy when we started thinking about relocating to the Raleigh- Durham area. She helped us identify our needs and wishes for a new home. We had challenges because we were out of state. Throughout the whole process, Kathy was always willing to talk about available properties. She even visited properties and did video chats so we could get a look at houses without physically being on site.

Spring is one of the most beautiful seasons in the Raleigh area - we have so many green spaces and local public gardens that you can visit to enjoy the landscape. There’s about a six-eight week period where we have heavy pollen.
My best local tip - grab some locally-sourced honey from our farmers market and add it to your favorite smoothie or tea!
Summer
Avg: mid 70's- high 80's
Low: mid 60's- low 70's
High: mid 80's- mid 90's

Summer is FUN here, but it does get really humid - we have that true southern heat and it takes some getting used to. Make sure to wear light, breathable clothes and always have water with you!
This is a great time to spend days on the lake, have backyard cookouts and enjoy many of our local events, craft markets & festivals.
Fall
Avg: mid 50's- low 70's
Low: mid 40's- low 50's
High: upper 70's- low 80's

Fall is absolutely gorgeous! The weather starts to cool down, but it’s still warm enough to enjoy fall activities!

There’s pumpkin patches, our state fair, breweries and many local festivals that are great for spending time with the family. You can also visit many of the local parks to enjoy the fall foliage or take a weekend drive out towards the mountains to see the leaves change.
Winter
Avg: mid 30's- low 40's
Low: upper 20's-low 30's
High: mid 40's-low 50'

Our winters are pretty mild - we don’t get snow often and if we do, it’s typically not until January-March. Be mindful of the ice and sleet - which cause more issues than snow.
Don’t worry, there’s still plenty of holiday spirit and you’ll find lots of holiday events, theater, concerts, and light shows around the city.
